The core of the many Salesforce Clouds is unified by the new infrastructure design known as Hyperforce, which Salesforce released. Salesforce instances may be launched over public clouds, such as (AWS, Azure and GCP). Salesforce’s ability to rapidly enter more geographies and assist clients with data residency and compliance requirements is made possible by leveraging public cloud partners.
One or more of Hyperforce’s main characteristics is:
- First, there will be local data storage for compliance and regulation.
- Every Salesforce app, customization, and integration will be backward compatible and run on Hyperforce.
- Third, Hyperforce uses both in-transit and at-rest encryption.
- It can separate the infrastructure from the application for multi-cloud setups. It allows the application infrastructure to be put in a location nearer to the user and client apps.
Proximity – As a customer, if you are already operating your workloads in public data clouds, you can combine Salesforce data with those workloads by using Salesforce Functions or other external processing tools, or you can use MuleSoft to connect Salesforce data with other applications. It has clear benefits if Salesforce data is housed in the same public cloud instance.
While public cloud providers manage the physical layer beneath Hyperforce, Hyperforce represents a new infrastructure model. Salesforce is in charge of the central infrastructure that supports the Lightning Platform over public cloud infrastructure.

In Hyperforce, all infrastructure is unchangeable. If an infrastructure patch or configuration update is necessary, all servers, containers, or virtual machines will only need to be generated once. The previous version is then removed to make room for the new one. It offers a stable configuration without any state drift.
To expand its infrastructure, Hyperforce uses metadata artefacts (terraform manifests) maintained under source control to prevent unauthorized vulnerability introduction and process adherence. As a result, infrastructure in public clouds can be dynamically increased or decreased.
Hyperforce uses multiple availability zones in public clouds to ensure high availability. This ensures that the compute resources are distributed across several regions close enough to one another physically to function as a single system while maintaining the reliability of distributed systems.
The zero-trust architecture of Hyper Force prevents any implicit access to system resources. While in transit or at rest, all data is always encrypted. Every request path is expressly permitted and validated. Operators are given just-in-time access with an automated mechanism for removing time-bound access by utilizing the least privilege principle.
Both B2B and B2C performance – Customers can more readily compute resources as needed to be more flexible and efficient because of the public cloud’s elasticity. Hyperforce makes deploying resources in the public cloud simple and rapid, cutting down on implementation time from months to just a few weeks or even days.
Integrated Trust – The security architecture of Hyperforce restricts users’ access to customer data to the necessary levels, shielding sensitive data from human error or configuration blunder. In addition, data security and privacy are guaranteed by standard encryption, both in transit and at rest.
Local Data Retention – Customers worldwide can choose to store data in a specified place using Hyperforce to assist compliance with laws unique to their business, industry, and area.
Reverse Compatibility – Hyperforce will power every Salesforce app, customization, and integration, regardless of cloud computing.
